The KSTAR MEMOPOWER RT MP RT 3k S is an online UPS designed for rack-mounted server and network environments. It delivers 3 kVA of continuous power at a 0.9 power factor. As a result, it provides 2.7 kW of real output power to connected equipment.

True double-conversion topology keeps the load fully isolated from mains disturbances. Therefore, voltage fluctuations, surges, and frequency deviations do not reach sensitive equipment. In practice, this makes it suitable for critical IT loads that require clean, stable power at all times.

Inbuilt Battery Configuration

The unit ships with two internal 12 V / 9 Ah sealed lead-acid batteries. Together, they form a 72 Vdc battery bus. Moreover, this configuration allows the UPS to begin protecting equipment immediately after installation, without requiring an external battery cabinet.

The inbuilt charger maintains the batteries at the correct float voltage. Because of this, the batteries remain ready for discharge during a mains outage. Overall, the self-contained design reduces rack space requirements and simplifies deployment.

Output Connectivity and Interface Options

The MEMOPOWER RT provides multiple output socket types to accommodate different device plugs. It includes universal output receptacles alongside one dedicated IEC outlet and one UK plug socket. In addition, this combination supports a mixed environment of servers, network switches, and workstations.

Multiple communication interfaces allow integration with building management systems and UPS monitoring software. For instance, a USB or RS-232 port enables real-time status reporting and graceful shutdown management. Meanwhile, SNMP connectivity can be added to support remote network monitoring.

The MP RT 3k S suits small server rooms, network closets, and edge computing installations. However, it is equally appropriate for point-of-sale systems and medical workstations where power continuity is mandatory.
