Intern - HR & Talent

Position Type: Part-time or Full-time Internship (3–6 months, with potential extension)
Compensation: Monthly Stipend

The HR & Talent Intern will support employee lifecycle initiatives spanning recruitment through retention, working closely with the Human Resources Manager on talent-related priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Assessment Support

  • Support the development and administration of recruitment assessment tools and scoring frameworks.
  • Assist with candidate screening, coordination, and interview logistics.

Talent Program Support

  • Support university partnership and campus recruitment activities.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data baselines for talent-related initiatives.

HR Data & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate HR trackers and supporting documentation.
  • Support process documentation for employee lifecycle workflows.

HR Systems & Process Automation

  • Support the identification and rollout of workflow automation tools to reduce manual HR administrative work.
  • Assist in automating recurring HR processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s program (Human Resources, Organizational Behavior/Psychology, or a related field) or pursuing an MBA.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) to accelerate research, synthesize large documents (PDFs/reports), and structure and draft initial content.
  • Diligence in validating AI-generated outputs against primary sources.
  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Canva with a proven ability to prepare professional-quality presentations.
  • Structured thinking with ability to break down complex problems methodically.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information concisely.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — ability to work across teams, manage expectations, and drive alignment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter mentality with intellectual curiosity and proactive problem-solving approach.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel charts).
  • Prior internship, work experience, or project work in a relevant area.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics, organizational design, or workforce planning; experience with survey design and analysis (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms).
