Intern - Business Analyst
Position Type: Part-time or Full-time Internship (3–6 months, with potential extension)

The Business Analyst Intern will work at the intersection of multiple business units, supporting process, operations, and cross-functional initiatives. The role calls for strong general business acumen and comfort operating across teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cross-Functional Business Support
- Support cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination across multiple business units.
- Gather requirements and input from stakeholders across departments.
- Support process mapping using standard notations and contribute to Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming and sprint planning where relevant.
Process & Documentation Support
- Support process mapping and documentation of business workflows.
- Assist in preparing business requirement documents and related materials.
Data & Reporting Support
- Collect, clean, and verify data from multiple sources.
- Support dashboard and tracking tool maintenance for cross-functional initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s program (Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field) or pursuing an MBA.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) to accelerate research, synthesize large documents (PDFs/reports), and structure and draft initial content.
- Diligence in validating AI-generated outputs against primary sources.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across different functional teams and business units.
- Proficiency in Canva with a proven ability to prepare professional-quality presentations.
- Structured thinking with ability to break down complex problems methodically.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information concisely.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — ability to work across teams, manage expectations, and drive alignment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter mentality with intellectual curiosity and proactive problem-solving approach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel charts).
- Prior internship, work experience, or project work in a relevant area.
- Knowledge of process mapping and business process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) and business process mapping (e.g., BPMN, swimlane diagrams).
